A familiar face on Texel – for decades
What began as Verhuurbedrijf Bruining in the last century grew, at the start of this century, into Fietsverhuur De Koog, a trusted name on Texel. For decades, we have been providing thousands of hire bikes a year to visitors to the island, with care and dedication.
Building on that experience and our passion for people and cycling, we took the next step: Bikeshop Texel — the place to go for new and/or second-hand e-bikes, city bikes and accessories, with delivery throughout the Netherlands*.
Together with a close-knit team, we are here to serve both the people of Tesselaar and all residents of the mainland.

We are Natalja & Pieter, the proud owners of both Fietsverhuur De Koog and Bikeshop Texel. What drives us? Genuine service, a personal touch and the belief that the right bike makes all the difference — whether you’re on holiday or cycling every day.
We’re happy to help with advice, maintenance or finding a bike that’s just right for you. From our shop on Texel, we deliver to customers across the country, but always with the personal attention you’ve come to expect from us.
