Returns policy

Right of withdrawal

At Bikeshop Texel, you have the right to return your purchase within 14 days of delivery or collection
return, in accordance with the statutory cooling-off period. This right of withdrawal applies under the
the terms and conditions set out below.

Returning bicycles

1. A bicycle may be returned within 14 days of the invoice date.

2. A test ride of up to 10 kilometres may be undertaken on a bicycle.

3. Bicycles collected from the shop must be returned in person to the shop in question.

4. Bicycles delivered to your home will be collected from your home once you have requested a return.

5. Any original delivery charges will be waived.

6. The customer is responsible for the collection costs.

Returning parts and accessories

1. Parts and accessories may be returned up to 14 days after the invoice date.

2. You are responsible for the costs of returning parts and accessories.

3. Please contact us in advance or pop into the shop to arrange your return.

General return policy

The following terms and conditions apply to all returns:

1. The product must be complete, unused and in its original condition.

2. The product must be returned in its original, undamaged packaging.

3. In the case of combined offers or bundled products, only the complete bundle may be returned.

No returns

The following products are excluded from returns:

1. Products showing signs of assembly, use or wear and tear.

2. Products with missing or damaged original packaging.

3. Products containing software whose seal has been broken.

4. Registered or used GPS equipment.

5. Products registered in a specific person’s name with the RDW (such as speed pedelecs).

6. Products manufactured specifically for the customer.
